Intention of Eating
Maybe this is related to my recent Zen of Drinking post:
Rachel (Velveteen Rabbi) writes about the consciousness and intention we can bring to the act of eating and drinking (and everything else we do every day), and whether and how eating and drinking is imbued with "the desire to recognize and elevate the holiness of what I put in my mouth, and the desire to use that sustenance to fuel study and prayer and good work in the world," or not.
Worth reading and pondering.
